I'm having a problem with this. Playing as Jonathan. Outside the cathedral in Chartres. Did the copy with tomato sauce on newspaper of the engraving on the statues column. Have the words in the notebook, "mysterious Latin sentence". Click on that and then the communicator, it opens, use pen to click on email which is highlighted in yellow and then try to click on Kat. It does not highlight, nothing happens at all. I have tried over and over and nothing. IF I am not doing something wrong is there a chance of a saved game for this point or soon after? It's been a while since I played this game, but I do remember lots of folk having trouble with the communicator. It appears at top left of your screen, but also in inventory. Be sure to click everything onto the device in your inventory. Is that what you're doing?

Finally got back in here again. Thank you so much Rushes. I was trying to use the communicator in the upper left corner. After I tried the one in inventory I did get the email in the message box. It took several tries but it sent, I know how to do this now and have moved on.
