Hi robert, the shortest route to the furnace room is via the gift shop on the ground floor. Enter there from the main downstairs room, and then to your right in the gift shop you'll see an archway. Exit through there and around to the furnace room.

rushes, i'm getting very close to the end of this game but i can't figure out Mag's w/t to the ENTKOMMEN puzzle. for instance, which right-hand letter do you start off with and where as each letter moves? any w/t is supposed to be easy but i am having a hard time with this one. robert.

Here's a screenshot of the Junior solve:

Note the numbers -- that's the order you work in, from 1 to 9. The letter next to each number -- that's the letter you pick up from over on the right and place in that specific slot.

The letters will slide into a new slot immediately afterwards, where they are meant to be.

So to start with, pick up letter E, and place it in the very top slot, where it will slide right. Then pick up the second E and place it where you see 2 is numbered, and so on.

luck

@Rushes

Thank you, and I'm really wonder why they don't have a map for this game. I'm running all around to find the furnace room which I have found earlier but now I cannot located, they are mad these designers or not, pitty smile

A quick way to the furnace room is via the gift shop. Head through the archway on the right wall in the shop, and follow the corridor around and to the right, and down the steps into the furnace room. smile

I got lost quite often, playing this game. lol

Hi. So, I have found myself stuck in the captive curse. when I was reading the boards last night, there was a player who had the same problem as me. No matter how many times or ways I try to get the secret compartment to open on the cuckoo clock, it just won't. I even went backaround and talked to everyone, and went upstairs and called everyone on the list until there was no more talking to do. Is there a saved game that will get me the second piece of the decoder that I need?

P.S. I have no idea how to put a saved game in, so I would need instructions for that. Thank you!

welcome IKnowasecret,

The reason is that big tree is not activated yet. Be sure that you have checked-clicked the map taken from Renate.

Examine Renate's map in inventory. Nancy should say that she "should check all the sites out".

Hi acp, welcome to GameBoomers.

The closest save I have after this point is when two of the messages have already been decoded -- so you'll miss just a small part of the game with the decoding.

Let me know if you would like that save, otherwise let's wait and see if anyone has a save to send you directly after opening the clock. smile
