ritchiesbabe OP Settled Boomer R Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 808 Manchester	Hi there drivers seem to be gone on my archaic pc downstairs can anyone give me a link to the correct drivers I need please. I have done belarc advisor and I have the following Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device VIA AC'97 Audio Controller (WDM) Vinyl AC'97 Codec Combo Driver (WDM) I do hope someone can help me as my dad is getting very annoyed at no sound on the pc. Your BIOS will have a section permitting activation or disabling of the AC97 chip. Make sure that the BIOS is set to make the sound chip active, [AUTO] or [ON] or something similar.
