We've reached 20 pages on the previous Name the Game thread, and so I'm starting another one. If anyone would like to view the previous Name the Game thread, you'll find Page 1 of the thread here. For those who are joining us for the first time for Name the Game, this is the procedure:One person (hereinafter known as "It") posts a clue to an adventure game. The clue can be simple or difficult or straightforward or creative. Clues can be information about characters or events or puzzles or more (though we do try to stay away from outright puzzle spoilers). Everyone who wishes to participate can post the name of the game that best matches the clue. If no one has guessed after a few attempts, "It" gives another clue. The person who guesses correctly then becomes "It" and posts a clue for a different game, and so on. If you've posted a guess, or if you are "It," check back every day to see if you've guessed right or if you need to identify the correct guesser, so the game continues smoothly! (When thinking up clues, a good place to look for possible ideas is the GameBoomers collection of adventure walkthroughs -- plenty of inspiration there.) I am currently IT.Clue #1: Radiation. Figure out how to deal with it. **************************************** (For those interested, the current thread titles are listed below.) Jarkeld, I've got a bad case of deja vu. Is this another arm or the same one? Gil.

The Dig it is Over to you Jenny100. Traveler: I had 2 routes for my previous line of clues: Monkey Island parodied the incident from the Dig.

I've been going through walkthroughs of horror adventures, trying to remember what's in the safes.
You know what? People keeping boring stuff in the safe in a horror adventure.
I'm perhaps approaching this from the wrong angle?
EDIT: Might as well start off with...Safecracker?

I think there was a maze in Dark Side of the Moon, but I don't remember a safe. Dogday sticks in my mind as the worstest maze.

Journeyman Project 3 came out the same year as Dark Side of the Moon and it had a safe to open AND a difficult maze - but as I just used it as my last "game title to guess" I doubt it's that !!

That was a good year for science fiction adventures, at least in terms of choosing among odd titles. I'll assume you aren't thinking of Putt Putt Travels through Time. But that still leaves intriguing possibiities. Between X-Fools and Rob Blanc 2: Planet of the Pasteurized Pestilence? (And this is passing up Blinky just because he's got ghosts to deal with.) So many choices, none of which I've actually played (except for a bit of Putt Putt)! I'll go with X-Fools.
