Scotty mentioned in another thread looking forward to some upcoming games and I thought the topic needed a thread of its own. On my list are: Yesterday The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Jack Keane 2 Botanicula The Lost Chronicles of Zerzura Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle and looking ahead to 2020, Bracken Tor. Gil.

Although I will play some other games that should release in 2012, (namely Secret Files 3 & Haunting at Cliffhouse) this following list are the ones I am currently most looking forward to. I am not sure if all will be ready for release this year but one can only hope...
Bracken Tor Prominence Relics 2 Last Crown First Crown (suppose to release not long after the Last Crown) Rhem 5 Decay Memento Mori 2 Agon: Tale of the Four Dragons Phobos 1953 (English) Face Noir Delaware St John 4: Asylum of the Lost Cradle Wynchwood Hollow (Matt supposidly has been working on this since last year) Black Sails Coven (back in production) Asylum Adam Syndrome (back in production) Testament of Sherlock Holmes The Witness Until I'm Gone (still hoping) The Next Carol Reed Mystery

Yum yum , I didn't know Rhem 5 was coming out! Yep..Knuts been working on it since last year. In fact he sent out a screenshot of it in a Xmas card to everyone on his mailing list this past December. Don't know for sure if it will release in 2012 but my fingers are crossed.

Double Fine productions adventure
Thats all I can think of just now, its going to be a good year for adventure games.
You know, I thought about the Double Fine game but I'm not so sure it will be out this year, especially now they've got much more money to spend on it than they expected to have. I agree, though, it does look good for AGs this year! Gil.

In the adventure department of games I'm looking forward to:
Testament of Sherlock Holmes Chains of Satinav
and maybe
Bracken Tor?
edit:
Will Agon: Tale of the Four Dragons be released in 2012? Last I heard was that this game indefinetely postponed....But of course, they could have started production again...

Here are the games I can think of offhand : Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller last chapter of The Silver Lining The Last Crown Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle Yesterday The Lost Chronicles of Zerzuza Secret Files 3 Jack Keane 2 Haunted The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Memento Mori 2 Double Fine Adventure Deponia The Mystery of the Wrecked Village Maybe Syberia 3, if it isn't the multiplayer game it was advertised as previously. And if it's out this year, of course, which I doubt. I too, am waiting for all of the above, but I'm still hoping to see Culpa Innasta 2. I really want Culpa Innata 2 as well! I hope we get it some day. Also really want Rinascimento: Florence 1529 and Legends of Daemonica: Farepoynt's Purgatory. All three were at the top of my list, and all three are currently on hold. Adam Syndrome (back in production) Really? That's fantastic!!

Thanks for the link and info, GreyFuss. That's terrific news. It sounds as though we may have to wait a while, but it will be worth it. This is now my current most anticipated game. I also played around a little with their demo reel. Here is a link for anyone interested - Demo Reel. They have some beautiful scenes in there. I think the underwater scene is my favorite.
