Hi everyone, I'm Santiago from Antennaria Games, I've been working on this

game for a while and I'd like all of you to test it.
It's the first chapter of the game, and is still on beta phase.

So here is the link:
http://www.antennariagames.com/indie-videogames/island-earthly-delights

Storyline:
After experiencing shipwreck, an old fisherman finds himself stranded on an

unknown island. Looking for a way home, he will have to deal with its

mysteries...

Fell free to tell me what you think.
And if you want you can answer me these questions
How long did it take you to complete it?
Did you find any bug?
Is it too difficult or too easy?
Any other comments are welcome!

Thank you very much!

Same here. Can't do a thing :-)

Edit:
Played for about 20 minutes now. Couldn't do anything other than:
Click to reveal..

giving a compass to a weird fat white guy, getting a pipe, and filling it with herbs I found

So there isn't much I can say, but-
this is my first impression (which is also important I would say)

Likes: nice style, nice atmosphere.
Dislikes: being stuck right at the first second, not progressing at all, and so far random solutions to things.
(
Click to reveal..
why am I giving the fat white guy a compass again? And why am I getting a pipe for that?
)
It is also very hard to find hot spots since there's no marker here, and graphic doesn't really enable you to differentiate between different objects. Like, why should I click on this set of flowers and not that? Or should I spend my time clicking on them all?

Hope you don't take it too harsh, it's just my opinion...

There's definitely definitely definitely no logic to human behaviour.

Thank's a lot Ana!
Tomer, thank's so much for your comments. You guys are two of the first five people that tested the game!
Right now we aren't sure about the level of difficult and we might change it later... Some stuff may seem random, but you'll find out later (when we finish the game), but we'll consider it.
Click to reveal..
The demo ends when the character goes into the cave, but we'll add something to indicate it.

Thank's so much for your critics, they're really helpful for us!

Hi Becky! I hope you like it! Tell us what you think later wink

Well, I'm now done. I haven't changed my opinion a lot, I still think the puzzles are random. I mostly used everything on everything until something worked. To say that the puzzles "don't make any sense" feels irrelevant because everything on the island is somewhat wacko, and I guess some people can enjoy this sort of game play, but I like it better when you can solve things by thinking and not by random clicking.

However, the whole vibe of the game is really cute and everything's nicely done.
I think it would be a lot more fun if you allow the player to see what the hot spots are. Otherwise it's rather frustrating clicking on everything.

And sure - thanks for letting us test it!

@Tomer: your opinion is quite accurate. It's what almost everyone said about the game. Thanks for playing. We share your opinion that a puzzle have to be solved by thinking.

@Nina: thanks for playing. I hope you're able to finish it.
