In the forums, some folks were talking about crashing back to desktop frequently while others were not having problems. There was no solve given there though.

Hmm. Maybe I'll wait for a few days for them to fix it before logging back in then. I just got new headsets and was dying to try them out with the game!

Really, really funny video, you guys. It's a Skyrim parody on the A & E show, Hoarders, if you're familiar with that at all. Might not be safe for work, there's a bit of potty language in it. http://www.collegehumor.com/video/6747386/skyrim-hoarders

I see everyone's migrated over to Mass Effect 3. I haven't picked up my copy yet - still mesmerized by Skyrim. I'm way up over 350 hours now, with still huge areas of unexplored land. This remind me of my fourth game of Morrowind, in which I eschewed the expansions for a good old exploration game, trying to travel every single road and find every /ruin/cave/dungeon/propylon index. I'm sure I didn't succeed, but the trying was so much fun.
I still like the architecture in Morrowind the best.

I've been tooling around in Morrowind lately. Getting a little more of a hang of it. I haven't done any quests yet. Mainly just exploring, trying to find places. I've also been modding the heck out of the it. The graphics are such a change after playing Skyrim. Here's my character. Her name is Atari. I couldn't come up with anything better. *lol* http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v215/cira1/atari.jpg

Very nice, Anne. I love the juxtaposition of new graphics and old - but just look at that misty dripping Morrowind swamp in the background. Makes me pine for the old days. I might just have to unpack Morrowind and get back into it. I think I miss the bleak north and the Ash storms most of all. And the fully explorable ocean. Speaking of explorable oceans, in Skyrim I downloaded some mods and now I can't actually see underwater. The screen goes gray and I have to reload. I'll have to unpick what I've done and unsubscribe to whatever is causing the problem. Argh. looney4labs, No computer? You must be going through game withdrawal. That's why I now have three computers, just in case the unthinkable happens.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Hey Hagatha---this is about Morrowind so hopefully it's okay to post here, but just had to share that I'm playing it now as of last night, for the second time through and I'm having so much fun. The other time I was a dark elf but everywhere I went I was still "outlander"....now I'm a Breton so at least I really AM an "outlander" when they call me that! LOL Tracy, hoping that hubby works all day so that she can get into Morrowind again for a few hours

Well I'm hanging up my Ebony Sword and putting Shadowmere in the stables for a while. After 650 hours of play I've finally decided to take a break from this outstanding game for a while.
I just loaded Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning and have played through the tutorial. Will post my comments on that thread when I have any.

I'm already missing Skyrim it feels like I'm leaving an old friend after all the hours I've explored and quested in the game. I'll be back when the DLC/Expansions arrive.

Hey, Oldman,
That's an impressive number of hours you've racked up. I'm in the high 300's, myself, and still going strong (though I've taken a break these past two weeks in preparation for a move). I can't seem to get above the level 61 mark. Guess I'll have to start using skills I'm really no good in!

I know what you mean about missing the game. I myself always feel that way about Morrowind; less so about Oblivion. There's never a time when I wouldn't enjoy grabbig my glass armour and sword and delving into a Deadric ruin for fun and profit, and I pine for the ashy fjords of the north.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Wow, Oldman...I'd say you got your money's worth.
Son played Amalur and did enjoy it so I'll be interested to see what you think of it.

 Hagatha, when is your move?

Looney4labs,
We move into our new place at the end of July, but still have to sell this house. So much junk we've collected over 30 years; it's more stuff than anyone could possibly need. Reminds me of my shack in Whiterun, only in Skyrim you can just walk away from all the stuff. In real life, unfortunately, you have to deal with it.

Hagatha That is so funny. We can indeed relate. We keep thinking we need to move to a ranch style house, but the thought of moving all the stuff is such a horrendous thought. We do take a run at the garage from time to time, so there is always hope! And now back to our regularly scheduled topic

Yes,moving is exhausting. I've tried getting the spousal unit to just pick everything up and cart it off like Aegis the Bulwark, but alas, he is not able to carry 5000 tons of stuff.

Hagatha---LOL! If Argis EVER comes to your house for real, you have to let me know and tell him to come to mine next! SIGH! PS Hubby was in the military for a long time and so we've moved more times then I can even remember. I sympathize with you guys and hope that it goes fast and well. Tracy

Yes, I might just "improve" my fella next time around. Balimund wasn't just dull - he apparently never took a bath. Now, I could understand that while he was working, what with the hot forge and that metal dust and all, but afterwards he just patrolled my house and sat around and ate.

Hello fellow travellers in the world of Skyrim! Like you I am having a lot of fun although I have had to replay a couple of sections several times, largely because of an expired but now reconditioned Xbox 360 (kindly fixed up by Microsoft free of charge despite being over four years old and well out of warranty!). I am here seeking help. I have acquired Viklas's sword as a a result of expressing an interest in joining the Companions, but I cannot find the person to whom I have to give it for sharpening: the problem is that I am not allowed to simply discard it and I need to do so to get into the party at the Thalmore Embassy. Any pointers greatfully received. POSTSCRIPT Problem solved: I tracked down Eorlund at the Underforge.
