I downloaded this game a year or so ago and played it with no problems on Vista. I recently purchased a new computer with 7 and when I go to launch the game, I get this message: " The drivers require installation (with an administrator's account). Insufficient privileges: you must be an administrator when you run this application for the first time."

I went into compatibility and checked the run as administrator box but I still can't get it to run. I also check the thread for Windows 7 games and it seems So Blonde runs with no problems. Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks,

gameho

Try installing the game with administrator privileges (right click Setup and select run as administrator). If the game ran fine under Vista, it should run the same on Windows 7.

When you ran the game on Vista did you change the install folder to your User Folders?

I don't know. My son does all this for me. He went to bed. I will ask him in the morning. This sounds like a fix though, thanks.

BTW I love your avatar.

It didn't work, but thanks, Inland AZ. Any other ideas? No I didn't change the install folder to user folders.

You most likly need to update the copy protection drivers. This game uses TAGES

http://www.tagesprotection.com/main.htm
Tagès drivers version 5.5.7.2

32 Bit version
http://www.tagesprotection.com/5.5/TagesSetup.exe

64 Bit version

Thanks, Donald. I'm rebuilding my Windows 7 drive and forgot about the Tages updates for 64-bit Windows 7.

Thanks. That seems to work. Now to find the serial number!
