Hi all,
2 years ago I downloaded this game from the Frogwares promotion. I decided yesterday that I wanted to replay it as I enjoyed it thoroughly the first time I played it. I found the email I got from Frogwares with the download button and the serial for the game. I burned the download to disk so I wouldn't lose it and installed it yesterday. My problem is that when I went to activate the game it said incorrect serial. This was the exact serial that was in the email. I tried twice by cut and paste and putting it in manually. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Customer service at Frogwares is great!! I emailed Wael @ Frogwares and he said he'd have someone send me a new serial or unlock my present one.

The best advice I can give you is to contact them, I can't think of any reason why a valid activation code wouldn't work. Possibly because someone with a serial generator has already used the code.

Well they unlocked my serial because it worked this time. I don't know about that Jenny as I believe the generators (is that the same as keygen?) use the basic serial configurations but not serials (in this case 5 groups of 5 characters) that are already assigned. I didn't forward or give my serial to anybody either so this one has only been used by me a few times.

Keygen = key generator. use the basic serial configurations but not serials (in this case 5 groups of 5 characters) that are already assigned. From what I've read about key generators, they can be any kind of unlocking mechanism. From the wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KeygenA license or product key generator (sometimes stylized as keygen) is either a computer program that generates a product licensing key, serial number, or some other registration information necessary to activate for use a software application, or a program that generates public-key data for cryptographic applications such as the ssh-keygen utility.
