You can view the trailer Here. I have read the reviews and still not sure if it's action or adventure so if anyone is playing, I would love the feedback. Telltale Games today released an all-new trailer focusing in on the story of ‘A New Day,’ the first episode of The Walking Dead games series based on Robert Kirkman’s Eisner Award-winning comic book series.
Players will be able to experience the first episode of the summer-long adventure horror series, which arrived today* for download on PlayStation®Network, PC and Mac, and will release very soon on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360.
Episode one, ‘A New Day’ and the following four episodes deliver an experience tailored by the decisions that each player makes, leading to multiple paths through the story. Players take on the role of Lee Everett, a man convicted of murder, now given newfound freedom and a chance at redemption in a world devastated by the undead. Intense life or death situations will force the player to explore the darker sides of human nature, and they will meet familiar characters and visit locations from the world created by Robert Kirkman, foreshadowing the story of Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes in The Walking Dead comics. The first episode will sell for 400 Microsoft® Points on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, $4.99 on PlayStation Network and on PC and Mac as a season pass covering all five episodes for $24.99 from the Telltale Online Store and other digital distribution outlets. You can purchase the game for PC or Mac via TellTale Online Store and via Valve’s Steam service, as well as other digital distribution services. Telltale plans to release The Walking Dead for Apple’s iOS platform later this summer. The Walking Dead is rated ‘M’ (Mature) for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence and Strong Language by the ESRB. For more information on the game, visit the official website , FaceBook and follow us on Twitter . For more information on The Walking Dead comic books, visit www.Skybound.com . Happy Gaming! Ana

I didn't interpret it as complaining, just stating the facts. I appreciate the headsup and look forward to your thoughts. Ana

I love the way you think outside the box. It works beautifully for everything but cats.

Just started playing the game don't know if I like it or not. You use the key board to control the prisoner. I got into the house. It's a action and adventure. More action than adventure. Pretty dark. Richard

I just finished watching a 13 minute video of the game and the guy said that each episode will only be 2 hours long.

Just finished the game what a great game. About 4 hrs I guess. Can't wait for the next one. Not that much action. A lot of adventure. It took me a few minutes to get the hang on the controls. Well worth the money. There is nothing that I disliked about the game. Richard

Thanks Kjos, so glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks Gypsy, I'll edit the title. Let us know what you think when you get a chance to play it.

Kjos -- you said this game was more action than adventure early in the thread, then later that it's a lot of adventure. Would you consider this game to be a Dark Side game or an adventure game? How does the action compare to, for instance, Dreamfall or Broken Sword 3?

It isn't high on the action, and certainly more adventure than not. There is a bit of keyboard pecking and some actions have to be completed in a certain timeframe but its fairly straight forward. There is almost no running away or fighting in real time, and action players would scoff if you defined it that way. Its story and characterisation are its high points. Just over 2 hours saw it through, and I was engaged right through. Sets things up nicely.
