Billy, this is a DarkSide game and I do not believe there will be a WT here for that game.

I will move you to the DarkSide Forum.

There are several walkthroughs and a very good video walkthrough available. Just Google for Amnesia The Dark Descent Walkthrough.

GREAT game, if you don't mind having the pants scared off you!

Hi smile

Is this game an Action/Adventure in that is has real time combat and no "pause" button ??

I really like scary games but SO can't cope without a "pause" button blush

Cheers.

It's a somewhat odd game in that there is actually no combat at all! The monsters are sort of amorphous human-like shapes and you must evade them at all costs. Hiding is the best stragety! Definitely the scariest game I've ever played.

So .... A lot of "stealth" needed ??

I'm no good at that, either lol

Don't tell me you can't be sneaky, Mad! Hide and shut the door and you MIGHT be fine... scared

Mad,

I don't know if my game had a bug or not but in my case if I got killed a couple of times in a place after resurrecting (for 2 or 3 times) the monsters were not where to be seen.

Since I don't like stealth after I realized this I let them kill me!

Try to get killed again and again in the same place without trying stealth and see if you are lucky. I though the game adjust difficulty automatically.

I don't think I've ever played a game where the difficulty level "self adjusted" to accomodate an individual's capabilities during play ....

What a concept !! grin

They do exist (you can google the concept) but I don't know if this game is self adjusting or not, I found out the monsters were disappearing and assumed that. duh

I said that I would not play this game, now I'm eating my words. I d/loaded it months ago and still haven't finished it. I can barely see where I'm going, lol, and think I'm must be going in circles. Not sure that I will ever finish it. In fact, can't remember why I'm even there, guess I need to read a review!
