My Mom really messes her computer up all the time!
this time she has managed it get it real messed up?

when she turns it on now it says London UK eek
or something like that??
how does she get it back to USA? help??

That's in the regional settings.
In XP
* Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
* Click Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options, and then click Regional and Language Options.
* To change one or more of the individual settings, click Customize

Try clicking on the time shown on the bottom right of your deck top. (the gray area where it shows startup programs) It should open a box look for a link (change date and time settings) When you open that it should show a box to click (change Time Zones) The terminology may be different but every operating system I've used since Win 3.1 has had the feature.

Regarding Jenny's directions it appears to be the same for Vista
