A few days now I've tried to access the forum on LDW but keep getting a black screen with a red window and a warning that this is an attack page. I've never seen this type of warning before; any answers as to what it might be causing this?

I accessed the site last week without any problems. Now it states I was blocked based on my security settings which I haven't changed. Per google it states: malicious software bananavi.jp?. and malware weddingbells.ca?. It doesn't show in any way that my anti-virus(avast)is blocking this site. And sorry, I don't understand how to open the page per direct URL.

Copy and paste the direct URL - 130.94.188.133 - into your address bar in the browser and click on the icon to go to the address (depends on which browser you are using).
Have you run all your security scans?

I use Firefox and copied the url in which gave me the LDW homepage, but when I clicked on forums it came up with the same. As a second thought I accessed LDW using IE and had no problems. Yes, I ran Avast and Malwarebytes a few days ago which showed all was ok. Now not sure what the deal is with Firefox.

Which version of FF are you using? If it works with IE and you had no problems then it is most likely Not a virus or malware, maybe just a glitch in your FF. Try cleaning out the Cache, etc. reboot and try again. A good free cleaning utility to have if you don't have it already is CCleaner, use this to clean out all the Junk and then retry.

I've used ccleaner(and have for a long time),rebooted, I re-installed Firefox 12 and re=installed Avast. I still get the warning of this page is hosting malacious software. There is a bar to click to ignore this warning, but should I? I've checked all available logs but can find nothing pertaining to LDW.
