Do you mean swapping 2 pieces? I've played this but don't exactly get what you are saying.
I have my game open, as I've played it many times but I see I am only on Level 5-5.
I can't remember if there is some kind of mini game in between levels, but if not, then it must be you mean swapping pieces, and you need golden lanterns to do that. If you don't have any, then you can't swap. (I was wrong, the golden lanterns don't swap, you can't swap in this game as far as I can tell)
In order to play the higher levels you need as much help as you can get, and if you can save your powerups that will help a lot.
Let me know if this is not what you are talking about. I'll play some more to get to where you at.

No Flo it is not what i am talking about the lanterns give you more time if you need it not much but more. It is hard to explain you have to have played it or see the game itself i was hoping someone had played that far on some of the forums for it I have seen people have played it through several times and I dont see how they could have it is a hard game to pass I dont know how many months I was on level 6. Thanks for trying to help maybe someone who is there or has played it through will read my post.Sorry yes the golden lanterns do change the shapes but havent helped much.

I am ongoing in this game. I have a couple games saved under different names and I think one is at either level 7 or 8. I too run out of lives. Never have gotten past level 8.

Some of the responses made me wonder if I dnld the wrong game. Dogpenny--while playing are you collecting bombs-lightning bolts-hourglasses- 2arrows going in opposite directions ?? they should show towards the bottom of your screen. If so -the arrows allow you to swap 2 tiles (desperately needed further on). Also, on level 8 & before it, you must have gotten what looks like a brick wall- this is where the swapping comes in handy & necessary later on. If this is the same game ,it is #2 or 3 in a series of Atlantis --one being "The Rise of Atlantis" forgot the other one. Hope we're talking the same game -good luck!! EDIT: sorry- we are talking different games,I was talking about June 3 GGOTD "Call of Atlantis" I think you are playing the 1st one-which I gave up on. Call of ATlantis is much more fun .

Hi, In Alantis Quest, you get hour glasses to gain time, Magic lamps to switch things, Hammers to break things, and extra lives if you beat a level. There is one where you cannot move side to side or anything you just get bombed, and have to start that level, but the next time through you get past that level. As Ana says there is a cheat where to add time. It works on XP, but not sure if it does on Windows 7. Have fun it can be done, although it took about a year. You begin to visualize ahead out it works. Moving to the side is really tricky just keep watching how to move, good luck. Charllotte
