I am trying to develope the picture of the microfilm. It all works well until I put the paper in the stop bath where I have left it from 2 to 12 seconds but I always get the message that it is only good for the trash. The chemical misture is correct. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Smokey,

Just to double check - have you placed the microfilm on the glass plate above the enlarger?

Make sure the light is red before you do anything with the photographic paper and trays.

Time the seconds with a clock or stopwatch to be absolutely precise here. A second or two off, and the paper is ruined.

I have done all of those things and timed it for exactly 7 seconds but I still am told the paper is runied.

Did you open the photographic paper box while the main light was still on, i.e. before switching over to red light? That might have ruined the papers. If so, try going back to an earlier save before opening the box.

Otherwise, you could try a saved game after this puzzle. There are plenty HERE. luck

I tried an earlier save but that still did not work, so I so I downloaded a save. That solved my problem. Thanks for the help.
