Hi collette,

Does your computer meet the game specs? It'll help us if you give us more details of your operating system, esp. the graphics card. I'll move this thread across to our tech forum for advice meanwhile. luck

Do you mean you downloaded it? And then installed it? Or just installed it? from a disc?

Looks like your computer might not meet the minimum requirements for a graphics card.

The game needs a minimum of an Nvidia 6800 series or a Raedon 9800 Pro.

Jenny and Inland will know more, but usually the Intel GMA (graphics media accelerator) does not supply enough graphics memory. This laptop is probably going to have a hard time playing a lot of the newer games.

Maybe Inland does, but I can only repeat what Draclvr said.
Intel graphics -- especially older Intel graphics -- are bad news for gamers.

I can't really add much either – just that they are problematic. Over and above the lack of discrete memory, older Intel IGP's lacked other features, like Hardware TnL. Your best bet is to avoid Intel graphics if you intend to play games.
