Hi, people! I'm back (hopefully for a bit more regular intervals ) and I'd like to ask your opinion on something. I've long owned Broken Sword 1 and 2 and been wanting to play them, but I see that there is also a Director's Cut version out on GOG. Should I play that, or the original released version first? I've heard that there are some distinct differences.

Are they dead? Yes. Unlike you they have but one life...and they wasted it for your sake!

I enjoyed the directors cut more than the original. It took out the parts I hated and added more story.

I preferred the director's cut, too, except for the editing of some suggestive dialogue in one part (the clinic) that I thought was funny. Otherwise, I'm with Ana.

I liked BOTH versions but I think I still prefer the original [Some of the puzzles were made easier in the Director's Cut version.]

Oh, I'm a "story" person too, Drizzt But both versions of the game are good so I hope you enjoy yourself with whichever one you choose
