they did sedate granddaughter and put in a central line to give her meds to help her heart to stay working.

well i am going to try and go to bed and get some sleep. will post tomorrow when i hear more. they haven't left yet. guess the dr had an emergency and hadn't got to call denver yet

ok i just got an update, daughter gets to fly out to denver with granddaughter on a small plane

i got a text at 4:12 my time and they made it to denver and got granddaughter settled in. daughter was going to try and get some sleep before the drs started coming in.

Glad they made it there safely and prayers continue for all!! HUGS!!

they did another echo gram just afew mintues ago. will let everyone know the results when daughter sends them to me.thank you hope this works

a small update is that they want to do a mri and a heart cath and change her pic line.

ok latest is they will do the mri , heart cath and change her pic line in the morning. they couldn't get her into the mri today. and this way they won't have to sedate her anymore than needed. i am going to bed early , got a major headache tonight. for those that have me on fb i have a link set up for the gift shop that cheer cards can be sent to her . her name is brooklyn hall. thank you everyone so much for all the thoughts and prayers

just got word they are taking granddaughter back now for test. daughter was told that she may come back with a breathing tube in because of how relaxed her heart will be from the anesthesia. it is going to be a long morning of testing

ok here is an update on granddaughter, she is basically in heart failure, they are going to wean her off the meds that the one hospital gave her tuesday nght to help her heart keep working. they are going to try oral heart meds . she won't be able to take her adhd meds but they are going to try her on a new med for her asbergers and bi-polar. the heart transplant isn't out of the guestion yet.
also she still has the breathing machine tube in and they will take it out before she fully wakes up. they want her to wake up on her own
We won't be able to start medication for atleast another week depending how she tolerates everything. forgot they also did a biopsy so maybe we can find out what caused this

So much to handle for such a young girl. How are her spirits?

so far ok. daughter was amazed at the response of all the cards that has been sent. granddaughter was still asleep when she called me , at the time they were changing her pic line. i will get to talk to granddaughter later if she feels up to it.also daughter said that an old case manager of granddaughter has taken up donations at the learning center she use to go to
