just got word granddaughter is awake from anesthesia, off ventilator , doing good. she is still very tired but doing great

yes now to get on with some healing and hopefully the oral meds do the job when she gets to start taking them

Oh Rugs, that's good news. Sending more healing prayers and huge hugs for you and your whole family. I'm guessing you're not getting much sleep. Try and take a nap now and then. And don't forget to eat something. You need to keep your strength up.

a small update. they ar hoping to wean her off some meds starting today to get her ready for the oral heart meds and alos hopefully move her out of icu tomorrow so she can move around a little more than she is getting too. poor baby is getting tired of being poked and prodded

guess granddaughter had a bumpy night. her o2 and respirations would increase then drop setting off her machines. she did get to walk around for a little last night. daughter is waiting on the dr to come in now as i type and i will let you know more later

I hope that can stabilize her My10. Must be very frustrating and scary for you all.

well they have started weaning her off the iv meds and are going to start the oral meds tomorrow. daughter said she is looking pale again

My10, we will be thinking of you all. Getting off the I.V. will be great for her.

They started her on low dose of enalipril. thank you so much , i just wish i could go out there but i wouldn't do very good waiting in a hospital

well granddaughter was going to be moved out of icu today but her lab work wasn't where they wanted it at. so one more night in icu and will do lab again in about 4 to 6hrs and increase the enalipril

Hoping for the best.

Prayers that blood work comes back A-OKay and she may move out of ICU!!!
