A very good read, Donald I always thought adventure games you need patience, and smarts unlike first shooters... Adventure games to me are sort of WANDERING AWAY in another world where I might want to go... I think every adventure game is unique to the player....Unlike first person shooters where you just shoot to kill everything

It was reading reviews of adventure games by a company called Artic (around 1981) that got me into computers and (obviously) adventure games in the first place. I didn't find out until last year that the company was set up by none other than Charles Cecil.
