Does anyone know how or if this game can be played on win7? I checked the thread about older games on win7 and didn't see it listed.

It's not likely to work unless you're willing and able to either install Windows 3.1 inside of DOSBox or install Windows 95 or 98 inside of Virtual PC. Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster uses a 16-bit version of "QuickTime for Windows" (version 2.01 or 2.03) and 16-bit code will not work in 64-bit Windows without using emulation.

I have this game, but don't think I ever even tried it because it uses 16-bit code.

Gardens put to bed for the winter. Time for some gaming!

Doesn't look hopeful. Thanks for the replies though!

Sorry, Dottie. It's best to know ahead of time though. Maybe some day GOG will do this one.

If you REALLY want to play it and are willing to pay extra, you could ask the "allvideo" eBay seller (who does the "1click" versions) if he'd be willing to make the game compatible for you.

However his updated versions of games are usually $40 or $50.
