I very much like the Bing news app on the Start page of Win8, but for me it only stays up for a minute or two before crashing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it does the same thing. Anyone have a workaround for this?

I really like the Bing news app too, but I have no idea why it's crashing for you. I would suggest going to the Microsoft forums and ask there to see what the problem might be. I'm out of town until next week and using my sister's painfully SLOOOOOW old XP computer, so don't have my links for the forums.

Thanks for the advice, Drac. Found the answer on an MS forum, which gave directions for making sure all my apps were in sync. Works fine now.
