Secret Files: Sam Peters is now available on Steam here. It is also available via other outlets. You can access the Official website here. You can see some screens on FaceBook here. Bigfoot, the Abominable Snowman, the Loch Ness Monster - cryptozoologists are trying to track these creatures down and research them. One also appears in the legends of the Ashanti people in Ghana. These tell of human-like creatures that lurk in the trees at night and take their victims off to their caves to suck their blood: the Asanbosam. Right after journalist Sam Peters has escaped from a volcanic eruption on an Indonesian island caused by terrorists, her boss sends her to Africa. Soon enough, strange things start happening at Bosumtwi, a mysterious crater lake. Could the Asanbosam really exist? Sam Peters is searching for the answers in this thrilling tale of the Secret Files series. System Requirements Minimum: OS: Windows® Vista™/Windows 7™/Windows 8™ Processor: Pentium® IV 2 Ghz Single Core equivalent or higher Memory: 512 MB RAM Graphics: DirectX® 9 compatible Graphics card with at least 128 MB RAM DirectX: Version 9.0c Hard Drive: 750 MB available space Sound Card: DirectX® 9 compatible 16 Bit-Sound Card (optional)
About the Secret Files series The predecessor games Secret Files: Tunguska, Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis, and Secret Files 3 were all top sellers and won numerous awards: Comenius EduMedia Award for computer games with competence-enhancing potential (Secret Files 3), Giga-Maus by Eltern Family software award (Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis), children's software award TOMMI (Secret Files: Tunguska), and many more.
Animation Arts in Halle, Germany, has been developing these showcase projects within the adventure genre for years, just like this latest installment. The Secret Files titles count among the best-selling adventure games in Germany, and are frequently distinguished by the trade press.
Happy Gaming! Ana

Thank you, Ana. I'm adding this one to my "collection". Sandy I am enjoying the sounds and the graphics of this game, even though it might(as been stated here), be short.

A physical retail version is only available in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland per Deep Silver. Hope you are in one of those areas. Ana

I think this was discussed before but I don't really remember. Isn't this an episodic adventure? For the price it must be. Also how many total episodes are there? I don't see any information on the web site.
I'm also wondering why, if episodic, there is no season pass option as in other of this type.
I would much rather wait out the total of all episodes and play it as one game.
You laugh because I'm different I laugh because you're all the same

I'll agree with you on The Raven, mj2c. It was as slow as molasses. Good to hear that Secret Files performs well.
