Good morning and Merry Christmas to my Boomer friends.

How fed up are you all with constant popup adds from everywhere on the net, including my Comcast provider.

Merry Christmas, Kootsie!

Popup ads shouldn't be constant. I don't get any at all. It sounds as if you might have a program on your computer that shouldn't be there -- inadvertently installed along with a legitimate program or toolbar, for example. Try running a full Malwarebytes scan (or similar, such as SuperAntiSpyware) and see if it picks anything up. These programs are different to your anti-virus, and identify other potential nasties. luck

I don't have any. I will move you to Glitches where maybe they can offer you more solutions.

Pop up ads can be a nuisance, most are generally displayed by malware packages. Try running Malwarebytes (the freeware version) and see what it comes back with.

You can find it here - Malwarebytes Download

If the popups aren't related to the website you're visiting, it's probably an infection.
A MalwareBytes scan won't hurt.
Let us know the results.

Your suggrstion of Malwarebytes worked really well. Most popups are gone now.
Thanks a bunch!
