I know alot of people have had issues playing these two games, and I was one until yesterday. I want to share with anyone whose having this same issue what I did and now my computer will play these flawlessly (to my excitement)
First, I currently have a Dell Inspiron N5040 laptop that runs Windows 7 - 64 Bit with Intel HD graphics. This (the graphics driver) had been determined the culprit in my issue (as I tried everything else under the sun and even contacted HER Interactive, plus my old laptop, a Dell Inspiron 1525 running Vista 32 Bit, and our family desktop a Dell XPS running Windows 7 64 Bit played them perfectly)

NOW, what I did for my solution -- I updated Java & Flash, then ran windows update. After all were updated, I rebooted.
Then after my startup programs were all finished starting, I went to intel's download site and found a driver update (this I believe was the egg from the golden goose, as it was my prime savior) This was the driver that I downloaded and installed:

Once it was installed, I installed Danger By Design (as when those games wouldn't run, I had them uninstalled). With it fully installed, I slipped disc one into my optical drive and the games are once again playable
Long story short, I was super excited and knew I had to let anyone who may have been having the same issue know what solved my problem
