I moved your post over to Glitches; hopefully someone here will be able to give you some advice.

Just go to your desktop and right click. Choose "screen resolution", and then change to 800x600. You have to change back to your original screen resolution after your gaming session.

That didn't work but glad enough to get it running.
VERY dark though; especially on the spaceship.

Crystal Key generates the file irunin.ini which contains in part the entries

VarName42=%SCREENWIDTH%
VarValue42=1600
VarName43=%SCREENHEIGHT%
VarValue43=1200
VarName44=%COLORDEPTH%
VarValue44=32

Those are the values on my system. What values do you see?
