Thanks a bunch, Misslilo. And some other good news...well, it ends up bein' good news...I finished my dozenth or so playthrough of the DS singleplayer campaign (this time with the $7 download of the Steam version through Amazon), and, after you finish killing Gom at the end, the main menu automatically comes up and you can't pick up the loot he drops and backtrack through the game to clear any optional areas you skipped, which I like to do, and I felt kinda robbed. Then, just to see what would happen without the Myros mod (turns out you need it), I tried to start a self-hosted, LAN multiplayer game, but, I guess because ZoneMatch is defunct, that's disabled in this version. But I found a simple workaround for that online, so, with the mod, I should be good to go. Gonna go start a game after posting this, even though I'm in the middle of prepping to upgrade my OS from XP to Win 7 Pro. And it's good you posted the download link here, in case anyone else wants it--I highly recommend it for anyone who wants more DS singleplayer-type gameplay. (Somebody needs to come out with a download of DS:LoA, too--you can't even get that anymore.) Anyhoo, thanks again.

Drats! Had to post this to let others know...the Myros mod doesn't really work with the Steam version of the game, I suppose because the Steam client doesn't know I'm trying to play the multiplayer game modded to self-hosted singleplayer. You still get the 5 modded-in NPCs to recruit in the starter town, and you can still use the console code to get rid of the selection rings, but that's about it. You can't save your progress, the other cheats don't work, and you can't even select one of the NPCs by clicking their portrait, as if the game thinks that's some other player's character. But I found a copy of DS:LoA on Amazon for 35 bucks that allegedly includes the original game, so I may be able to get the full benefit from the Myros mod when that gets here. They should make some more retail copies of that, cuz it seems to me that there's people out there who'd still like to play it.
