Many of the games available for download at Amazon refer to an "Online game code". Can someone please tell me what that is? Thanks

I believe that the online game codes are for console systems; you buy the game, you get a game code, and then you download the game using the game code that you have been given. I think you can also gift the game code to someone else.

They are for PC games too. I bought Far Cry 3 from Amazon, but to play it, I had to enter the code at Steam. I've had others that required the code be entered at Ubisoft.

Thanks for the info, Pokey - I didn't know (obviously) that it included PC games as well.
