I can't say for sure; what I was telling you was based on reviews I had read of the game. What I can tell you is that I read that enemies can respawn and that sounded tedious to me. I would check out a few reviews and see what you think.

I know one thing, if these game sales don't end soon I'm going to be broke, and going to have to find a street corner. Well maybe not I'd be broke for sure plus might end up in jail and couldn't play the games I've purchased.

I just found out about GOG today from Gameboomers but I have a question about the older games. I would love to play my old Gabriel Knight games but my computer can't load them. On GOG it says that the games are for Windows 8. Does that mean if I buy the download it will play on my new computer? Does Sanitarium also play on Windows 8 with the download from GOG? I downloaded Gray Matter from another site, but never could get into that game. Does it download the same way?

Hi Norma, I don't have Windows 8 but rather Windows 7, so I can't speak from experience, but if the download page says that the game will run on Windows 8, then it should work on Windows 8.

GOG has a downloader that you can use to download the games, but it's optional and not required. I find for myself that my downloads are faster if I use the GOG downloader. You can read about the downloader here.

By the way, I believe that I have seen a few walkthroughs here on GameBoomers that you wrote; it's nice to see you.

GOG has a good support team, so if you have any problems, they will certainly try to resolve them. It's an excellent site.

You can also go to the Support section and see if there is advice related to your particular game. Doing this solved a problem I had with a game in the past week.

It appears that there are new bundle sales every day, but the flash deals are indeed getting repetitive. Don't forget that just about everything on the website, though, is discounted right now. Frankly, I am immensely relieved that the catalog of flash deals is repeating itself.

I really should be relieved too but I'm hooked. Keep checking it out all day even while I'm at work. I picked up Syberia 2 a few days ago so I'd like to get Syberia 1. I'd also like to get Bad Mojo and the first two Dark Fall games. I haven't seen any of those.

I only took any notice of this thread a few days ago but thank you traveller! - changes in my circumstances mean I couldn't have afforded the 10 + ? games I've bought (actually I've lost count! ) if it wasn't for the flash sales & I'm going to be hooked until the sales end!
