Forgive me if this is a stupid question,
but is Dracula 3 and Dracula Origin the same game, or 2 different ones?

Dawn, My understanding is that D3 is a different game... it follows Last Sanctuary & Resurrection.

Hi Dawn, they are 2 different games, one is made by Kheops and the other one by Frogwares, we are going to be busy with vampires this year!

I've just posted the link for Experiment 112 english demo. The first release of this demo wasn't installing, and now Microapp said they fixed it:but it's still not working for me, I'm trying again right now.
Please let me know if it's working for you (605 MB to download!)

Re: Work in progress and recent releases 01/14 - 01/16/08 12:41 PM
I've installed the version from the website
http://www.experience112.com which worked for me.

Re: Work in progress and recent releases 01/14 - 01/16/08 01:01 PM
Hi Metamorphium, the link I posted is the direct link to the download (when you download from the official site you can notice on the address bar exactly the link I wrote) and finally it worked for me too.
So, everything is fine, we'll wait for your comments on this game then!

Re: Work in progress and recent releases 01/14 - 01/16/08 04:24 PM
OK, but I used the first link above to download the demo and even with DSL the download says more than 2 hours, I think I'll skip it, sitting "watching water boil" is not my idea of relaxing fun!.....but thanks Carla for your hard work on all these updates...would'nt ya know it I finished Loath Nolder last week and am so bored waiting for another good Adventure game to be released NOW! I guess I needed to hold back one or two newly released games with the expectation that I would be recuperating from emergency surgery and need something to do with my 'hands on the computer'...
Sure wish The Lost Crown was in my hands now.......oh, well, back to a casual game I guess.
Love, Betty Lou

Re: Work in progress and recent releases 01/14 - 01/16/08 05:36 PM
Thanks for the list, Carla, your hard work is helpimg me with my decisions. There are 17 games listed in the screenshots list, not counting Culpa Innata which I have already played, or the 3 games that were listed twice. Of these 17 there are 6 I'm interested in with 3 that I will definitely buy (my mind is made up on those, unless I unmake it, of course) and 3 that I'm watching but haven't decided one way or the other.

After downloading and installing - which took 770MB of disk space! - It's not working. Guess I'll wait for the reviews.

Hi Betty Lou, I just noticed you are recuperating from surgery (and kinda out of sorts with no games at the moment. I really hope you recoop fast and a great game comes for all of us, soon.

I downloaded Experience 112 with no trouble playing it. But the cursor was floating when I moved it and as far as playing the demo I had NO idea what to do. You control the camera in a map with a lot of blue dots I wouldn't want the game but somebody else might like it. Thanks

Carla, I downloaded Experience 112 and installed it without a problem. It played ok for me. The game was certainly unique with all those camera windows and being able to see your character and move your character by turning on lights and objects.

Just checked out the "Secret Files 2" site. Fun to watch the videos of game play. Great way to see how a game works without having to download a demo (of course there is nothing like first hand experience). Interesting point 1 - the website is in French and the video is in English!; interesting point 2 - it is described as a "jeu d'aventure 'point and click'". Ha, the French hate "franglaise." I love it!

New Perry Rhodan screens.
This looks to be fabulous.
http://www.clubic.com/actualite-94226-perry-rhodan-images.htmlThere is also a frenhc preview of the english version of Simon The Sorcerer 4
http://www.jeuxvideopc.com/articles/1844-preview-anglaise-simon-sorcerer-4/Overall, a very good impression of the game, only drawbacks, the sometimes very long monologues. They applaud the humour, the graphics in 3d/2d, the importance of the dialogues at the center of the gameplay.
One negative from the reviewer, the fact that the game is another point & click with a lack of spice in some of the solving parts, despite the awesome technical feast of the game.
They also stress the very good quality of the English voice acting.
They hope that the game will get even better by the time it reaches gold status.

Re: Work in progress and recent releases 01/14 - 04/03/08 10:58 PM
I have played some of the latest demos for Sherloch Holmes. Using the forums for the Sherloch Holmes games, I found that if I lowered the mouse sensitivity to just a notch above zero on the slider in the game's options menu, I could play the demo - without getting seasick or having motion sickness.
Due to these demos I have also found the demo the Secret of Silver Earring. And what a delightful game this is
(it came out in 2004, I believe, so this i just a heads up to those who are new to the Sherloch Holmes series...)

Update on simon 4.
PlayLogic confirmed to me that the UK territory wont be available till at least July as the earliest. But! There will be in a week or two (aprox) available a english speaking version for Netherlands and other regions. So if you dont mind imports from NL or other places then thats the best way to get a English speaking version of Simon 4 before July.

Re: Work in progress and recent releases 01/16 - 04/24/08 11:34 AM
Thanks for checking it out, Skeeter! If anyone knows of an online store that will stock the English version of Simon 4 and that ships internationally, let us know. (It'll be easier for us if the store has instructions for how to order in English.)
