I have entered a photo contest here.

I could use any and all votes to win. Voting ends on Sept 18th and you can vote once every 24 hours (on the second eg. if you voted at noon, you can vote at noon or thereafter the next day).

You have to provide your email address for authentication but wishpond is reputable and you will not get spam mail.

There is a bot catcher added yesterday (for those that have been voting all along and not yet aware) and you now need to scroll way up after voting to confirm you aren't a bot. Others have had to find an object in a picture to confirm (Yay a hidden object game, ).

I did it. Hey, I didn't have to scroll or anything. A box just popped up asking if I was a bot. Check and good to go. I love that they are checking for bots now. So responsible of them.

I didn't get chance to try again on my computer but I did visit the site later using an iPad and was immediately asked if I was a robot.
When I said I wasn't, I was allowed to vote !!

It will be a computer attempt again next though so I'll see what happens

I think they will do the fair thing since they know the circumstances of what happened but if we all keep voting maybe we can take the decision out of their hands.

I'm chomping at the bit waiting to vote.

Does anyone know why the total number of votes isn't showing up anymore? I'm seeing the dragonfly in top position but does that mean it's winning?

My guess is with what went on with the photo that they had to pull that they might not be posting totals until they check all the votes for accuracy. The best thing we can do for Ana is keep voting.

My guess is the same as Space Q... I feel so sorry for the dragonfly photographer who was spammed by this individual.

Sorta, someone tainted the votes using a bot so they hid the actual votes until they can get them cleaned up. It may not be till the end. I trust they will do the right thing and all I can ask is that you continue to support me and it will all work out in the end.

There are a ton of beautiful pictures in the contest although I must say the third place photo of the couple surprises me with how many votes it has received,

The colors in Ana's photo are stunning.

She promotes it heavily on her FB page, SpaceQ. The fan voting is basically how many people you can get to vote for you. (Like all of you awesome folks!) I think it has little to do with picture quality. The funny thing about that photo is, it's not hers. It was taken by a photographer in her engagement photo session. Technically, the photographer should win, not the lady that submitted it.

Sounds like this contest is a platform for 'see what you can get away with'. Loads of fun for the past month. I'm anxious to see who wins what or if they will post the winners. Hope so. After everyone's hard work, it would be nice to see the winners, even if they are fudging a bit on the rules. Just happy the 'bot' guy got his due.

I won't be fully satisfied until he gets some communication from their legal department.

I finally got the 'find the picture' test. Wheeeee. It wanted me to identify blurry pictures with numbers in them. As I clicked on each of them they kept changing to different numbers, and finally to pictures. Was fun. Confusing but fun. Just had to keep clicking as each one changed until it was done.

I don't know, but I just don't see how he could have jumped that much just today. This contest has left me weary. I'll just stick with tweeting my photos and occasionally putting them on FaceBook. It's not the losing part that gets me, it's the whole process and knowing people cheat to win. I can handle an honest loss.

If nothing else, at least you know what's going on. Sort of anyway. I know, the cheating part sucks, but you, and with help from people here, know who it was. That would make me feel better since I hate not knowing things. Hope you understand what I'm trying to say here lol. I can be a bit hard to understand sometimes, and in a different language!

Heron Boy could still be messing with the votes too. I don't know how any votes the first and second place have, but it has to be well over 1000 - strange how one photo got that any votes in just a few days! The snake is a pretty green, but the bee is a better photo.

It would be nice if they told me what was going on and curiosity is killing me. Part of me wants to email her and the other part says to leave her alone and trust whatever the outcome it was fair.

In my opinion no way the snake photo comes out of nowhere and wins with legit votes and we all know the dragonfly has all of the bot votes. I continue to believe that Ana won this fair and square.

I honestly don't know anymore on how people cheat, if they cheat etc, but this has been a bitter pill to swallow.

Interesting they have now taken the highest option away.

I noticed that this morning too when I checked to see if they have adjusted anything. It's really killing me to not talk to the lady running this.

Well, you've enriched people's lives by sharing your talent and have learned lessons that may help you in the future. Those who have cheated have really gained nothing that matters. Rather, they've lost a piece of themselves even if they don't know it yet. I'm a firm believer that the Universe has a way of balancing these things out one way or another.

SpaceQ, once you exit out you can't get it back. I can see most votes on my phone because I never got rid of the browser page. I closed it on my computer after it ended and now when I do a fresh search for it, most votes is no longer an option.

In the rules it says you can receive a list of winners by sending them a stamped self-addressed envelope. I just assumed it meant getting their real names instead of what is posted on the site. I really expected them to post what they deemed most worthy, I'd like to see them.

Still can't get over that two photographers had to be eliminated for cheating. If it wouldn't have been brought to their attention by you wonderful people, they would have won. I kind of chuckle to myself picturing a duel between the two cheaters in the final hours, adding thousands of votes to beat each other.
