I think I have all the items required for the Gris Gris spell but can't seem to "put them into the gris gris

Can anyone give a little help, please ??

[It seems ridiculous that after having collected them all I can't do that !!]

The items you need are chalk, gunpowder, black feathers, and coffin nails.

Hopefully someone else can help here, or maybe look at a video walkthrough?

I do have all the items and that is exactly what I thought I’d been doing with them !!
But I’ll try again 🙄

I thought more than 4 were required, though, and I HAVE more, so I better look at that again, too ….

Hopefully someone who has played the game will be able to offer more help - I know that looking at a video WT is probably a last resort (I feel the same way about doing so).

Well, I'm still stuck at the same place ....

I am able to confirm to the Witch Doctor that I have all the necessary items for the gris-gris spell but apparently I still haven't "put" them into the gris-gris parchment.

If I open the parchment I can't access the inventory.

If I try pick up an inventory item with the mouse (with the parchment closed) and attempt to drop it over the parchment it apparently doesn't drop in there.

I have driven myself nearly mad and have now even looked at a video walkthrough - but can't find a single place where it shows how an item gets put into the parchment 👀

And I can't think of anywhere else to go for help - so am drastically fed up !!

I thought what was described as the "parchment" was also the "gris-gris" but it was actually the item next to it
So now I am off "adventuring" again, at last, Whoo !! Hoo !!
And please overlook my brainlessness !!!!

you have to highlight the thing that you want to put in the gris gris and then slip it over to that wallet looking thing. just pick up the item and bring it to the wallet. that should work. even the rum, soggy wallet, but that goes in too.

Have you opened the ingredient list? Each ingredient should be checked off.

And someone else tells me they seem to remember placing the ingredients on the list in order to check them off.

I don’t know why I thought the parchment was the receptacle rather than the wallet - which was right next to it - but am hoping not to make any more silly mistakes like that 🙄
