Hi Jriffin, there is a marker off a balcomy in Ae'gura, I think it overlooks an area near the concert hall. I used the linking book in my Relto to get there. I think this is the one that gives you the arc reading. Once you get it go back and upload the KI to the GZMU. See if this will help you get started.

jtiffin, if by GZMU you mean The Great Zero Courtyard, that is only available after the first 5 markers, its down the stairs to the courtyard, turn left and come back beside the stairs.
Hope got the right place.

Chief, Great Zero Maintenance Units. It's an area in the Great Zero Courtyard that opens up after you've found all of the first markers and downloaded them. Sue

I think so Chief. That's the place where we used arc, distance etc.

If I remember correctly, the marker that comes from the balcony is a function of the machine on the left side, away from the window. First, are you sure that you pushed the blue button after you inserted your KI in the second machine? If that isn't done, the marker doesn't actually register. If you've done that, put your KI in that front machine on the left and push the blue button. Now go to your Relto and check your City book. There is a linking page to the art gallery in Kadish (where you found another of the markers) and the page that comes before that one should be the link to the correct balcony. As I remember, it's not terribly large and the marker was right there up in the air....

jtiffin, now I know : in his WT, Coelho Buda calls it the Toran attribute. I'll try to help. The first link to this balcony is in Kadish Tolesa, a Journey stone, in a niche near the second telescope:that will get you the link to the canyon balcony. Then, to get your marker, go there via the brown book in Relto : it could be the page After the one that links to Kadish Gallery. Hope I got it right. Chief

Chief, I'm glad to know where that linking stone is--the only one I have pinned down is the one to the rooftop in Eder. But I think that the canyon one is the one before the gallery, not the one after it.
Jtiffin, maybe you could let us know exactly where the linking picture is located in the City book, once you find the marker...

Congratulations, Jtiffin!!! Now you can have some fun swimming. I was wondering about the order of the pages in the City book myself. I guess the only way to tell if they go in the order you find them, or if there is a predetermined order that everyone's pages end up, would be to compare books with several people. Right now I don't have time to do that, I'm afraid, but it would be interesting to see about it. Maybe I'll see if I can find out from someone I know who is very knowledgeable about Uru....

Hi Jenny and Jtiffin,Coelho Buda in his WT says this about The Brown book : "This is the final configuration of this book. During the game, pages will be in different positions depending on what links you already have." Since I followed the Wt frequently for both URU and To D'ni, the link to the Balcony was after the Galery. But I discovered that link looking in the book as I to went "before" the first time because it is said to do so in the WT. In his configuration of the book, before his remark, the Balcony is after the Galery, but later in the WT, Buda says to look before the Galery. So, as you guys say : there is no predetermined order. I to would like to know, probably by Dadguy, what is the real reason. Have a good day. Chief

I have not played the game for a few weeks. I still can not find the first marker. It should read 71-74, but I get 74-84. Dadguy said something about this but I can't find it. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. It may not be in Kadish Gallery. razmom

Razmom, are you looking for the GZMU markers? I don't remember numbers being associated with the first two batches of marker hunting.

Razmom, I never paid any attention to the numbers associated with the markers, just went to the locations that someone had kindly given me. But I had the same problem you are having--my first marker, in the Kadish Art Gallery, didn't show up! And I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't for the same reason mine didn't appear. It turned out that after I put my KI into the machine in the back room of the Great Zero, I neglected to push the blue button--and the marker won't show up unless you do push it. Once I did that, when I went to the Art Gallery, the marker was hanging in the air right in front of me as I linked in...
