I have the CD version of Darkseed but my CDROM locked up on my DOS computer. It quit working so I am looking for the the 5 floppy's - 1.44's

If you have this floppy version for a computer and would be willing to get rid of it I would be happy to take it off your hands for a price

I have the CD version so cannot be of any help.

I keep hoping that GOG will get these two games but it's most likely a licensing/copyright issue, but maybe in the future something will happen such that it is more readily available.

Good luck in your search. It would probably be a lot easier to get another CD and use an external drive or something, but who knows?

For sure, what Marian said. An external CD player is quite cheap. Or just open up the case and take that CDROM out - assuming the old paper clip in the emergency open slot isn't working?
