I'm at the part where you get done doing the weight puzzle to get in the door and now I'm stuck at the 3 levels of machine room. My question is, can you tell me which one the stand is on the last stairs down is? And then the two up on the top level by the door which one do you do first? There is one in like a open wall way and one on like a little balcony that is getting me confused.

My problem is the stands between step 3 through step 7. Those get me confused especially 4-6. What wall and lil are they talking about?

if you mean the top level, go to the far right there are two stands. click on the left one first and do it ant then the other. I also had a problem here and used the other WT and did the whole puzzle over with it. Hope this helps.

kozykat,

Please do not post for game help for adventure games other than here at Hints forum. I merged your post from Casual to this one.

Thanks, TLC.

I have tried 3 different wt's and they all say the same thing, somehow it's not working for me. I know I've done it right, but I'm not getting anywhere. Can someone save me from this part please?

It would be best to go back to a saved game follow one walkthrough and do it carefully. Or make a drawing of your own using the walkthrough since you know where the stands are located now; then follow your notes. luck

I don't have any saves for this game, unfortunately, kozykat. We'll have to wait and see if anyone has one that they can send to you, so hang in there.

Or you can just click on the hints function and it will eventually solve the puzzle for you.

Did Lydia confirm that all the machines are now working?

If so: Go behind the dragon statue to the iron gate of the Grand Hall. In close up, pull the standing lever on the left. See the gate rise.

I did that and the gate is not rising. I also made sure Lydia confirmerd that all the machines are now working. Can you help get the gate open?

I don't know why you're unable to pull the lever if the machines are now all working. Did you see the cutscene of the machines working after you completed the puzzle? Can you examine the lever in close-up?

ya, I saw the cutscene showing the machines working and yes, I can get up close and I again rechecked everything to make sure all is well. Usually, I don't get stuck like this without being able to proceed to the next puzzle. Can you send a save game on just after the gate raises up? or do you have some more suggestions? Thanks for all the help, I sure can use it.

---------------

I think I can do it now. I had to go back to the stands and just clicked the hint button to finish those right, now I can open the gate(I think).

Hope that works for you.

Please remember to use the Edit button if you want to add something to a post and no-one has posted after you, rather than stacking your posts. thanks
