Hope no one minds my coming in on this thread but i am either confused or dim (as usual) Can I take it that there are two versions---Jekyll and Hyde and Jekyll and Hyde 2010??-the WT's seem to bear no resemblance--regards -Petjo

We don't mind at all, petjo, nice to see you!
Yes there are 2 walkthroughs, one for a game from a few years ago and the most recent one which came out last year.

Thanks Robbo and Yes Petjo, we never mind questions. That is what we are here for, and Robbo's answer was 100% correct. He didn't tell you he wrote the current WT. wave

Best wishes to all.

Hi Derek, sorry for the delay, missed my usual visit here until now.
Ok, I'll get a save ready and send instructions on how to use it.

I know this is an old thread but I just started
playing this game a few days ago.

Does anyone have a saved game "after the swinging ax puzzle".

Thank you

Alan

Hi Alan, I see we did have a member with saves. Let's give it a bit and see if someone has one. wave

I will give it a day or 2 more and if nothing comes up I will delete the game.

Thank you,

Alan

Hi,

I'm afraid there is some bug preventing me from entering the mine tunnel using the wagon in chapter 3.

After I have successfully moved to the tunnel entry and stand by the empty wagon I can see both "Magnifying Class" and "Hand" icons.

When I click the "Magnifying Class" icon the game instructs me to attach the light to the wagon. After having done so the game says I'm ready to enter the tunnel as I have both light and crowbar with.

When I click the "Hand" icon (or hit key E) by the Wagon, nothing happens. Jekyll "freezes" and can't be moved until I visit the Inventory and exit it. The wagon isn't a hot spot any more and I'm in the dead end.

In the Inventory only the "Magnifying Class" icon has ever been enabled for the crowbar, never the "Hand".

Does any of you have any workaround to offer? Either how it's done "correctly" or a save game after entering the mine tunnel using the wagon.

Thanks in advance,

Timo

Hi ya TJL and Welcome to GameBoomers wave

I haven't played this game, but I know some members have. A Google search yielded only the wisdom that sometimes starting the section over may help.

There is a Walkthrough Here that gives instructions for the mine. That might help you. luck

Thanks for welcoming me here.

This site has been my number one source of walkthroughs for years.

I have googled and read several walkthroughs for this particular problem including the one on this site.

None of them describes the events in every detail. I assume that after Hyde has fixed the rail and you click the "Hand" icon as Jekyll again, the next sequence shows you and the wagon by the tunnel entrance. If you haven't already attached the light then clicking "Magnifying Glass" icon asks you to do so. Should you then use the crowbar or is clicking "Hand" icon enough? For me there is no option shown in the Inventory to use the crowbar, should there be?

I have tried starting the game from several earlier savepoints but nothing seems to help. I always lack means to enter the tunnel with the wagon.

My game version is a download version from Adventure Shop US. There is no patch available there, already checked it.

I hope some of you having played the game through is able to help me with this problem. By offering a save game if there is no other way to pass this problem.

Timo

Timo, I've emailed for help, but don't have anyway of knowing if/when the member will see it.
