Baby's First Doctor Visit
This made me laugh out loud. I hope it will give you a smile!
A woman and a baby were in the doctor's examining room, waiting for the doctor to come in for the baby's first exam.
The doctor arrived, and examined the baby, checked his weight, and being a little concerned, asked if the baby was breast-fed or bottle-fed.
'Breast-fed,' she replied..
'Well, strip down to your waist,' the doctor ordered.
She did He pinched her nipples, pressed, kneaded, and rubbed both breasts for a while in a very professional and detailed examination.
Motioning to her to get dressed, the doctor said, 'No wonder this baby is
underweight. You don't have any milk.'
I know,' she said, 'I'm his Grandma,
But I'm glad I came.

Good morning Joe and all wave Gameboomers!

Calling for isolated T-Storms and 84 today! What a wonderful Wednesday! I'm getting a car today and the sky is the limit! ... think Well, perhaps not the sky but definitely over the river and thru the woods! lol

More trouble typing. More feeling in my left hand and less in the rt. This too shall pass.

Sue and Haroula, sending good healing thoughts your way. smile

I'm sipping my first cold caffeine of the morning wondering what to put in my empty cavernous tummy. What i would like is a McDonalds Bacon, Egg & Cheese Bagel Sandwich. What I have is oatmeal or Cheerio's. I'll think of something...

Have a great day all!

WooHoo Joe.....this is it! Tomorrow you can sleep in and work late. I think I like the work early though but not as early as you have to be there. 7am is a good time. lol

Oh and you can have Baby for the night too. That makes it all worth it. Hope work flies and goes well. Thanks for the laughs!!

Ana enjoy class and I hope you will have at least today for some fun times before you have to head for the corner for a week. A run in the park or at the river.... maybe??

Cailyn sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. HUGS!! Prayers that you are well in know time at all.

Haroula prayers that the new meds have you feeling well in no time at all! HUGS! Hope everybody else is feeling ok!

Gerry have a nice walk and a lovely day!

Ah Gail have a lovely walk with the dog! Have fun helping out Sherlock. lol Have you watched that new show called "Elementary"??? It's a modern day guy called Sherlock. Interesting!! Have a lovely day!

Oh Sharon could we have your thunderboomers???? I'll trade ya! Lake Superior lost four inches of water in September alone. eek That equals a lot of water concidering the lake size.

Some areas here will be under a winter storm watch from Thursday thru Friday! scared With the possibility of six, that's right, six inches of wet white stuff. Mainly around the Canadian border.

Have fun with the rental and be careful if the rainstorms come!

Connie have a lovely walk and have fun shopping at Costco!! Thanks for the danish!

No plans till taxi time except to walk Sassy and do some gaming.

What a morning. Went to Wally World, got home, and discovered I was missing a bag of stuff. Had to go back and get it. Geez, I hate those carousel thingies that hold the plastic bags. Thought the checker had put all the bags in my cart while I was paying. That is the second time that has happened. Next time will twirl the thingie around and check all the bags. Now, my big question is.... where did I start? lol

It is so nice out. Shirt sleeve weather.

I'm home for the rest of the day. Uh-oh, just looked at the time. Time to get lunch ready.

L4L, I do that too -sometimes reading can put you back to sleep. Once I started playing Oblivion at 4AM and by 10AM the cats were beating me up for their breakfast -I never stopped playing.

The new Doom will be out in 20 days....hurry!! Then the next milestone is Killzone 4 then play station 4 thenthenthen...Can one take her playstation to heaven with her?

Lovely October weather. Cool nights warm days. It's supposed to be in the 90's in a few days.

My 3 daughters have joined an organization and they raid the bad puppy mills. How exciting. When a raid is planned they hop on a plane and get wherever and raid. And it's a good cause. I knew my daughters are Vikings.

Enjoy the day and hit those games

Not much sleep last night. Shadow started not feeling well at 1am and we were up and out every hour after that. Lack of sleep and the rainy day gave me a headache that I am trying to get rid of.

Sue, glad to see you here but sorry you are under the weather. Chamomile tea and chicken soup in the corner for you.

Haroula, I'm sorry you need another round of meds. Don't forget to take probiotics especially if you are taking antibiotics.

Gerry, have a great day.

Gail, I hope you are able to help Sherlock and WAtson today. lol

Sharon, have fun zipping around today in your rental. yay

Connie, have fun at Costco. They have added so many new healthy options lately, I am really loving it!

Nan, it's a rainy day here so no park run. Zumba was great though even with my pounding head.
Still unsure if I am heading to the corner or not.

Darlene, hope you are having a good day.

Bets, I hate going back to the store because you left something. Send heat my way. I am not ready for this fall weather.

L4L, I hope the rest of day goes smoothly for you.

Yankee, how wonderful of your daughters to do that. You raised them right!

I decided it was a great day for cooking since it's a steady rain out there. I made a large pan of chicken parmesan and whole grain pasta. Sam and her fiance decided to come down and join us for dinner also with my grandpuppies. It will be a full house here!

Sweet dreams Haroula.

SpaceQ, are you doing a park run?

Nan, I am feeling better. THanks! Have fun running the taxi tonight.

Hi guys. I had a day off today. I decided to go see my Mom and spend some time with her. It's getting very hard for me. She can't say what's on her mind anymore. I have to figure out what she means. sad It breaks my heart. She has a very sweet roommate. I did get to see my aunt (her sister) while I was there. I left there feeling very sad that I'm losing my Mom.

Hope your day was good. It's Shell"s birthday today. I know she doesn't stop in at GB's much anymore. I just wanted to wish her a very birthday anyway.

See you tomorrow. Night everyone.

Hugs, Midgy. It is so difficult to watch a loved one decline. We were discussing that last night at our Bible Study as all the couple involved are dealing with mom issues.

Hullo everybody. wave

I've had a very busy day and I'm so glad it's winding down. I'm tired of being wound up. tired

I brought Baby home from Mom's with me to spend the night with me and she is happily curled up next to me now. wink

I went walking about the neighbor's place this afternoon, and only found a piece of an arrowhead that got broken up sometime long ago. I can tell it was a super nice arrowhead before it was broken. yes

Tomorrow is a 1:00 to 9:00 work day, and then I'll be opening Friday at like 5:00. slapforehead

That'll be fun.

I hope you're all having a nice evening. smile
