I'm having trouble trying to get Samuel Gordon down to Willow Creek in order to develop some film. Do I need to do something else in the castle first? Please let me know! Thanks!

I assume you've been told that the guy in the pawn shop develops film (you can't do things in this game before you're told about them). Have you:

• made arrangements with Hermann to get the personal belongings
  checked out the greenhouse
  looked at the stuff in the library
  talked to Victoria

This game will not let you progress beyond a certain point until you've done everything up to then. Means going back and retalking to people, and revisiting sites quite a few times occasionally...

I believe I have done everything there is to do in this chapter in order to get me to develop the film. I have talked to and then apologized to Victoria for bringing up the study. So, I know I'll never be able to get in there this chapter. What am I missing????? Please help!!!!!

Chapter One.

That was what confused me - You won't be able to develop the film until Chapter 2.

What you should concentrate on is talking with Henry and following what happened to the strange object found at the bushes beside the tower.

I'm now in Chapter Two. I have found the Bill of Exchange in the morgue and Sam keeps telling me to keep looking for something else. Here's what I've done:

-I've looked at the corpse
-Looked at the microscope
-Looked the brain
-Looked at the autopsy waste basket
-Look in the desk drawer to receive a new
inventory item

.......now I keep going back from corpse to desk and corpse to desk. What am I missing? Please help!!!!

No, you don't have to wait until the end of the chapter, Mac. Go back to the castle and talk to Robert and down to the village, to the Pawn shop. You'll buy something there, and after that the doctor should have the pictures ready...

I'm back again and desperately need your help! I'm in Chapter Two so far and have completed the black and white gem stone altar puzzle without a w/t. I just need help with the riddles. I have MAP and COAL solved so far. For the life of me, I cannot figure out what the other two are. I'm sure they're probably something simple and I'm going to regret asking you guys afterwards. But, please help by giving me the answers to the other two! Thanks!!!!!

I'm down to the point of actually getting the elevator lift to working order. I just need to figure out how to get Sam close enough to stick the cloth into the steam valve without burning his hands. Can anybody please tell what I can use for his hands? I would like to get on with the rest of this story! Thanks!
