I just bought this game at a real bargain but no manual.Can anyone tell me what I'm supposed to do when I get the Bahos sticks.Am I supposed to go to the canyon each time I get one or can I wait till I get them all.And whats with that lifeline on the bottom? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" />

Hey, Beerhead! This is one of those games where you need the manual in order to know what to do! Have you played the first Shivers? Well, in case you have that lifeline at the bottom of the screen is exactly the lifeline in the first Shivers. It represents your life. As for the bahos, you cannot wait once you have a stick in your hand. Remember the matching diagram that your current bahos was found with and then head onto the canyon to look for the same design on the canyon wall itself. You will then have to click on the design to solve another puzzle which will open up the alter room to place your stick in. Don't worry, when I played the game and did the pentagram puzzles in the canyon, the life did not go away while I was solving them. Good luck! Enjoy the game!

Beerhead, here's a tip that helped me get through this game: BEFORE you pick up a bahos stick - Save Your Game! Because your lifeline starts to dwindle the minute you pick it up. With your game saved, you can find your way to the canyon, and find the correct puzzle on the wall (not always an easy task). Then if you die on the way, you can easily reload your game, retrace your steps, until you're sure you can get into the canyon quickly.

There are also spiral symbols on the walls of the canyon, that will give your lifeline a boost. But don't use them too often, as there are a limited number of them. Have fun - I loved this game!

It is also helpful to explore the town as fully as possible before you even pick up a bahos. Make sure, especially, that you find the entrance to Devil's Mouth Canyon. Then you can use the Map function to teleport you to the canyon (or any place you have identified) and save yourself precious life essence (or walking around).

With each Bahos I took to the canyon..I saved my game at the mouth of the canyon..so when I got zapped too many times looking for the correct symbol..I could go just outside to try again..:-) Good Game!! Have fun with it..don't forget to put the used gum on the tv screens before you listen to the vidios! Glynn
