Hiding Under a Rock
So-- since am 'off' Big Fish until they get Ominous Objects fixed and I really wanted to spend time with a great game - I replayed Mystery Case Files: Escape from Ravenhearst-Collector Edition. Just as good as ever. (only problem I had was could not play 'full screen' -maybe not compatable with hd? I don't know) anyway did have to resort sometimes to my Big Eye magnifying glass for the ho's but TILL---This is STILL a 'BEST GAME EVER'. Yes, does have some gross areas--However, they do fit in with the story .....and What a Story!!
It is such a shame that most of the newer games don't have the writers that are needed to help make a game a really good one.
I wish BF could get the same people who did that game back together again and give us more really good games. This was not a game you wanted to hurry through. It holds your interest. It is also A LONG GAME. If you like good creepy/eerie games with a good story this is the one. Just too bad not more like it and too bad that Ravenhearst has not been re-visited...'cause you never know.....bwa-haha.
It still puts a lot of the newer offerings on BF to shame. It is the type of game that I loved to play (minus the ho's,etc) as a real Adventure game-not a casual game-in the past and which is SELDOM ever made anymore...which is such a great loss to me.

No argument from me that this Big Fish game is almost in a class by itself -it's definitely a stand-out. There's nothing else quite like it. wave
