I am in the Photo Lab and am trying to put all the things in the beaker but nothing will go in. I have all the items I need. The WT says to put them in the flask but on the desk is only a beaker. Any ideas? I will appreciate any help here. Thanks. Luv, Joanie

<img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" /> I now have a really big problem. I am at the volcano and I still have copper11oxide instead of copper1oxide. so I can't make the red beads. When I was supposed to make the #1 the WT said put in the black bead but the bead I had was clear and the other one was blue/green. I don't know where I went wrong.I don't guess there is a chance of getting a saved game here, right?Any help will be so much appreciated.
Thanks. Luv, Joanie think

Hmmm, Joanie. Let me check to see where you get the black bead. I'll be back.

Edit: The glass beads should be in the Ni area (photo lab, etc.) in the room where you coated the nail from the door with copper in order to get out. They were in the top drawer with the copper wire.

thumbsup I'm so glad you solved that part, Joanie! I liked this game very much but found it the most difficult of the 3 science eduation games. Part of it is that the encyclopedia interface is not as user friendly as it is in Physicus and Bioscopia, and part of it is that chemistry was not my strongest science. wink Still I had fun with it!

Joanie,
It sounds like you're at the lab near Big Nose Rock. If so, I think you have to do something with the distillation chamber before you can regulate the temperature. Also, there's a switch back in the main control room that has to be activated.

You are right about where I am! I pushed the arrow up so it was orange and saw that all the lights on the panel were green in the control room.Where is the distillation chamber and can you remember what I am supposed to do there? I really appreciate your help Lady K. Thank you.

Joanie,
The distillation chamber is in the lab. I'm a bit vague on this, but I believe that you're at the place where you have to distill some ingredients to make the banana aroma.

Did you get a sample of every chemical in the refrigerator (cabinet) on the left side of the lab as you entered? The distillation chamber is on the opposite side nearer to the table. Add the pear-pinapple scent to it. At the desk, you have to use the condenser, and add isopentanol and acetic acid to it.

Hmmmm. I've been looking at my notes but I'd better check the walkthrough because all I've written down are "water" and "heat." Does that make sense? I'll get back to you asap.

Yes, I got the wooden template and a sample of every chemical. The WT says to set the display screen when you enter the lab.

Joanie,
Somewhere I remember a diagram (perhaps back at the control room) showing the distillation chamber (a hopper with a lid) either open or closed. I think you have to set it one way or the other to be able to set the temperatures. Try it both ways and see if that helps.

I'm sorry I'm so vague on this, but I remember spending a long time here because the walkthrough I looked at for help was misleading.

think The diagram is in the control room and is where to click the up arrow orange. The hopper is in the lab and I tried it both ways and it didn't help. I thought last time I added a rod to the screen to make it work but it's not working now. I tried to put the perfume in the distillation chamber but it didn't work. I may have to do the screen first. Any ideas? help thanks Luv, Joanie

I did it! I was trying to put the perfume in the wrong place. The screen can't be set until you put in the perfume.
I did all the other parts to get the poly resin and the WT says to collect knowledge chip but I don't see one. Anyone know where it is? thanks

Joanie,

This is from a faulty memory but check that bench you just worked on. It is dark in that area, if I remember correctly.

BTW - you know the CD has a help-wt included. laugh

It should be on the desk somewhere. Is it possible that you picked it up during an earlier visit?

Yes Lady K. That's just what I was thinking! I do believe I did pick it up earlier. At least I hope so. I do appreciate your help guys. Thanks.

Joanie,
In the area under the pool, you had to recharge the refillable lamp. You should have filled it with Ne (neon) only. If you need more details, let me know.

Yes, Joanie, just put all the templates in the projector to create a white rhombus in the middle. Don't worry about the other shapes. smile
