Yes, I've done that, to no avail.

Try this:

Save your game. Buy a cake from the lady left of the theatre. Click the cake on Grandus.
That might start a conversation. Keep us posted.

That didn't work.
I'm not able to "use" anything on Grandus.

I'll either have to go back to the beginning of this area OR beg for a saved game cry

I don't have a saved game here. I have one after the theatre.
Send me your saved game and let me see if I can do something with it. 2 files per saved game.

Just enjoy the game and see if you can identify all the fairy tale characters.

Did you get the recommendation from the sculptor? Did you use the diary on Grandus?

Yes we have the recommendation but can not use anything on Grandus. The Diary says something about the sheperdess needing a reply, could that be it?

Position in front and getting the active spot of Grandus can be difficult.

I sent you a saved game prior to this and I know this works to be able to click on him.
See if that helps.

Got the files and thank you but I put them in the savegames folder, start the game hit start scroll the list and they are not listed. So i then went out of the game and deleted all of the Act 1 files ( save game and jpg) restarted game and they are still listed as being there. ???

OK found out the you have to edit the Savegame.tbl file with Notepad. Added the info for the savegame and now it works fine.
Thank you Magtro for another game salvation.
