Kathy2, I believe you can avoid the timed part of the maze if you enter and then go right back to the door where you came in. This somehow turns off the timer and allows you to explore at your leisure. I haven't played the game myself, but someone recently posted this on another site. Perhaps someone else can confirm this.

Ugh, I remember that underwater part. I didn't think I'd ever get back out of the water. I know that I made a save for someone not long ago for this area. I'll see if I still have it. I do need an email address for you though. We can't send attachments through Gameboomers. So please update your profile, be sure to click the update button, and please don't post your address on the thread. We don't want any lurkers to have your address. If this is too complicated, just send me a message by clicking on my name and I'll get it that way. Sue Hi LadyK

The way I got through this puzzle was to print out that part of MaG's WT. If you follow the pictures EXACTLY, you'll get through it.

Just be sure to make a save once you get to the door so you don't have to repeat the entire process again. But I do have a saved game if you will get me your email address.
Thanks Tuesday
Sue

Now why wasn't that idea written anywhere when I played that puzzle three times to finally get out of the water in time? I'll have to go back and test the theory. Thanks CC and LadyK

I believe there is a frame by frame drawing of that puzzle on GB's WT site. Yep, you'll find it HERE .
I didn't do it......and if I did I'm not guilty!

Yes, I just finished this game yesterday, and using the pic by pic WT, I got it first try. Look at pics closely and find landmarks on each Foward or Turn.

Kathy, the best advice I can give you is to look at the pictures on the walkthrough. The directional arrows are "touchy" in this game. You may have to swing a bit right or left to engage them. When you have the correct area to climb out of the water, you will see the arrows pointing up a bit. Good luck

Hi Kathy, glad you made it out of the maze. The rest of the game is just fun.

Hi Kathy, not that I know of. I remember this part and died a couple of times. You need to grab your gun and aim for the bag that is over the maids head, you don't shoot her. Good luck

I tried the same thing so I'm glad I made a guess that you might have too.
