Geez, I hate to admit it but I can not find the pieces of paper in the trash can. I know they're supposed to be there. I found the watch hiding just barely visable ontop the mantle....but where are the note pieces. The trash can sits there taunting me but it appears empty. I've tried every angle, every vantage point. I've rooted through papers on the floor and still no note pieces. I give up, helllpppp pleeeezzzzeee. Sky!

Just a thought - this game has those fancy keyboard keys that are used like shift, ALT, Ctrl, etc combined with arrows to either stand up, sit down look down , etc. Read about it on the manual for info. Can you try that because maybe you have not moved forward and then look down on the trash can to see the shredded notes.

Found this location for the shredded notes - the note is in the trash can in the safe.

I take it you're still at that now deserted place where you met the Countess? There are 2 trash cans in Day Four and both of them contain shredded note pieces. If you are, first press the left Shift key until you cannot raise your eye level any higher, and then tilt your eye level by pressing the down arrow. That way you should be able to look down inside the trash can.

I'm talking about Tucker's safe, it can be opened by voice recognition, which is a puzzle by itself. The trash can has the shredded notes that can be put together - It starts 'Brother Marcus.....'

I didn't know that you're in the Countess' place. Yes, there's the other trash can there with notes.

Note that there's a bug with that message in the Countess's trash can.

No mtter how many times yourearrange it, the pieces in the inventory won't fit together to acknowledge that you have solved it.

There are no bits missing in the message, you just need to arrange the message so its understandable.

Once the message is understandble, that is all you can do with it is to follow the clues provided in the note.
