Does anyone know how to get the telephone man to come to the house? He will not show up in chapter 4. I've used 2 walkthrus, including the one from Sierra Planet, which is the ultimate Phantasmagoria walkthru. <img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/pacify.gif" />

I too remember having prblems with this part when I played the game.

Have you checked the phone before and found that it is not working?
Have you talked to somebody, I think the woman, about it being inoperative?
Have you done everything for that day like looking and follwing Cyrus, fixing telescope, searching all the areas?
After you've done everything outside when you get back to the house, you should see the strange car of the repairman.

After you fixed the telescope, did you look through it at the house? Did you get a flashback in the greenhouse? Like MaG says, the phone man's truck should be there after you finished exploring everything in that new section outside.

The phone man finally showed.

I did the telescope and then the greenhouse with the flashback and he wasn't showing up. After reading all these posts, it seemed like the telescope was the key. So, I went back to the telescope and looked through it again. This time she made a comment about the room at the top of the house. The phone man showed up. I have never been so happy to see a phone man.
