Hi Jenny100 As I had downloaded the saves without any problem some time ago (just in case I might get stuck myself when I played the game ) and couldn't think why dorish wasn't able to, I have offered to zip the saves folder and email it to her. Cheers. Mad

Thanks for that warning, Lion_1251 [I'm assuming dorish, like so many of us, is playing the GOG version as I've not heard otherwise.]

Did you receive the email I sent you - with the zipped saves, dorish ?? If so, there was a "Read Me" instructions file included

Another way to use the new saves from Louis would be :-
1. make a list of what you have in inventory.
2. Take out the existing save folder from the game files - which is holding all the saves YOU have made - (and stash it somewhere safe) and just replace it with the save folder from Louis - which will give you the ones HE has made.
3. Then launch the game and you will see all the saves from Louis sitting there. And you can just choose which one would be the most appropriate to load.
4. Check what is in the inventory of the new save you've loaded.

Okay, this is where I'm up to --I downloaded and extracted Louis' files, found the save I need, put it into a new folder and changed the save number to be the next one in the game, but I can't find where my save file is on my computer. I downloaded the game with GOG Galaxy. Jenny 100, I searched that name you gave me, but it didn't bring up my saved games.

I am playing the GOG release (which uses ScummVM) on a Win7 64bit machine.
I downloaded it via Firefox. [I don't use GOG Galaxy.]
My downloads (from any source) automatically go to a folder named Downloads on my D Drive.
Once the setup files for Lighthouse had downloaded to my D Drive, I created a folder called GOG GAMES on my C Drive and moved the files there. I installed the game to C Drive.
My route to my saves is :
C Drive GOG Games Lighthouse Saves
[I use both C and D drives for my games as both are very big drives and afford me plenty of space.]

If you install the game directly with GOG Galaxy then you probally find the savegames here:
C---Programm files (x86)----GOG Galaxy----Games----Lighthouse-----Saved games
Lion_1251 Then the saves would end up in the VirtualStore, not under Program Files.
