For which games do you like use to make a English text walkthrough with lots of screenshots?

The Dutch walkthroughs are removed from the website and we only have translated a few walkthroughs.

Louis has made more than 175 walkthroughs( probally lots more but these ones I have) and we wonder which walkthroughs you would like to translated.

A short list of the games:
-Homesick
-Haven Moon
-Tormentum Dark Sorrow
-Schizm 1
-Schizm 2
-Ether One
-Timelaps
-Gomo
-Starship Titanic
-Sherlock Holmes The Awakwened
-Sherlock Holmes: Silver Earring
-Sherlock Holmes: Jack the Ripper
-Sherlock Holmes: Arsene Lupin
-Sherlock Holmes: The Testament of Sherlock Holmes -Broken Sword 3: The Sleeping Dragon -Broken Sword 2/5: The Return of the Templars -Broken Sword 5: The Serpents Curse -The Dark Eye: Chain of Satinav -The Dark Eye: Memoria -Journey To The Center of the Earth -Unmechanical

Also he has a walkthrough for Alide and The Art of Murder games.

We also have a couple of new games where we can make a walkthrough for: Eastshade , The Low Road , Subterraneus, Forgiveness and some more.

Louis is now busy with the translation of Goetia, Tormentum Dark Sorrow. He is writing the English walkthrough for Unforseen Incidents.
I am translating the walkthrough for The Room 2 and I am writing the walkthrough for The Room 3.

Let us know which walkthroughs you want translated, not only from the short list but there are lots more.

Don't email us but make a reply here on Gameboomers.

Hi Lion. There are good walkthroughs here at Gameboomers for all the games in your list above starting with Sherlock Holmes and down (except for Unmechanical) so maybe some of the ones listed above those, such as Ether One, Homesick, and Haven Moon. You say Louis is working of Goetia, Tormentum, and Unforseen Incidents so that is good. I think we really need them for the newer games as not too many people do the text walkthroughs anymore.

Thank you, to both of you, for doing these. They are very helpful!

I don''t get it, in many replies and thread people say that they need a text walkthrough but when I asked for which game you like a English walkthrough than it stays sillent.

There are replies from Marian and oldbroad, thank you for that, and after that there is a very big silence. No more replies, are they looking for walkthroughs for a different kind of game?

We make and translate walkthroughs for adventure- and puzzle games, not for hidden object games.

As we have only these 2 replies I have to assume that the menbers don't need our walkthroughs.

I even asked myself should I continue making or translating walkthroughs, Louis is also thinking about that.

Is it worth all the work, making the text and the screenshots?

Maybe it's better to play games for myself and just have fun?

Maybe just at the moment the walkthroughs people need are already out there, Lion_1251 ??
But that could very easily change once a crop of new games gets released !!

So perhaps you should take the opportunity to play games for yourself for a while yes

But please don't stop writing your wonderful walkthrough, you OR Louis. I'm sure we WILL need them again thumbsup

How about a walkthrough for The Samaritan Paradox?
The only text walkthrough I found is on Steam, and has no pictures.

Of those you list, I'd choose Starship Titanic, Timelapse, and Alida because I'd appreciate good illustrated text walkthroughs for those.

I'll appreciate the translation of the Tormentum walkthrough being worked on.

This was just a short list, I could have made a list of more than 100 games.

Lion, I do hope more people will respond. Meanwhile I still think that the newer games definitely need your walkthroughs. I'm sure there are old games too. I have so many old and new games I haven't yet played but am not sure if there are walkthroughs for them or not. If I can, I will try to take a look and post back again.

I do hope you get to play for your own pleasure also though, not just to write walkthroughs!

Room 3 would be nice... you might get more answers if you posted this questions in Adventure Game Discussions... not everyone looks over here unless they have a problem..

The walkthrough for The Room 3 is a work in progress, it will take a little while.
There are 4 endings and for each you have different puzzle which take a lot of time to describe properly.
Also the screenshots take a lot of time to adjust for the website.

But this walkthrough is coming.

Louis has ask me to post his comment:

Hi Oldbroad, Jenny100, Aretha and all other members of gameboomers

I'm Louis Koot. I was briefly a member of gameboomers as Marinus_Louis. I'm the owner, webmaster and walkthrough writer of www.pcgameswalkthroughs.nl and via lion_1251 I like to react on your comments here.

Oldboard: Of course I enjoy playing the games of witch I do walkthroughs for. If I didn't enjoy playing those games I can't make walkthroughs. It's not work.....It's a hobby and I do this because I like to do it....and I'm doing this for about 25 years now. During that time I've made walkthroughs for more than 300 games.

Jenny100: I have made Dutch walkthroughs for Starship Titanic and Timelaps and you can find them on my site. I also did a walkthrough for Alida but sadly I do not have that one anymore. Perhaps lion_1251 has the Alida walkthrough still in his archive. If so then maybe he can do an English translation for you or I can do that if lion sent that walkthrough back to me

Arethea: I do not have the game Neofeud and from what I know about it I do not want it.

As a rule I do not buy games to make walkthroughs and then offer those walkthroughs for free via my site. If I must buy a game then I do not do a walkthrough for it. I'm not that crazy to spent money on games just for the sole purpose to make a walkthrough for it for other gamers and then give away that walkthrough for free. If you want me to do a walkthrough for a game then you have to make sure that I can play that game freely without costs.

So this is the deal and it has been so for the past 25 years: I only do walkthroughs for games that I like to play and that I do not have to buy myself.

Best regards: Louis Koot from www.pcgameswalkthroughs.nl

p.s. I have the walkthrough for Alide in my archive, one of us will translate that walkthrough

I'm playing Gray Dawn at the moment and I'm sure at some point I could use your kind of walkthroughs.

We don't have a walkthrough for Gray Dawn and Louis and I both don't like that game.
Like Louis stated we have to like and enjoy a game in order to make a walkthrough for it.

So we won't make a walkthrough for it, to much horror for us.

Hello Lion_1251.

I have been enjoying your detailed walkthroughs and am very grateful you and Louis have provided a site where answers could be easily found. Thank you!

I know I may be late in response to your generous offer to submit requests for walkthroughs, but here are the games I wonder if you would consider writing walkthroughs for:

1) Alice VR (can be played in "DLC" mode without VR equipment);
2) Mage's Initiation – Reign of the Elements;
3) The Antidote;
4) Aporia: Beyoond the Valley;
5) Cylne;
6) Fract Osc;
7) Kholat:
8) Layers of Fear;
9) The Manhole: Masterpiece Edition;
10) Mind: Path to Thalamus;
11) The Descendant – all episodes.

Best regards, Jesse.

Louis has played Aporia and has tried to write a walkthrough for it, but as you are writing you need time and he was kick out by the ghost lots of time.
He then had to play a big piece again and was kicked out again, after a number of times he stopped making the walkthrough.

Mind: the path to thalamus we have but we don't understand the game and didn't like it very much.

The other games we don't like and enjoy and if we don't enjoy a game we wont make a walkthrough for it.

I am sad to say but for these games we don't make a walkthrough.

Thanks so much.

I've been using this site recently and it's great!
