I did not suggest buying the download from HeR Interactive because I think their download policy through Digital River is very poor. I have seen folks here over the years download a game from them and then a year later try to re-download it and being unable to do so because they did not also purchase the extended download service. Not good. So as much as I agree that it's better to try to support the company by purchasing from them, in this instance I simply cannot in all conscience recommend that people do that.

Why Mojave requires a Metal-capable GPU

Lack of support for Metal graphics is why some of the Macs that are supported in today's macOS High Sierra can't be upgraded to run Mojave. This includes 2009-2011 ("non slim") iMacs; 2010-2011 Mac minis; 2009-2010 plastic non-Retina MacBooks; and 2011 or earlier non-Retina MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models.

Last night, before I went to bed, I was reading the comments on Facebook about the official trailer. There were 500+ comments and I would say that roughly 30 to 40 of them were positive; the rest were pretty much scathing in their criticisms. This morning when I went back to read more, I found that the entire thing had been deleted/hidden. The company must have been feeling quite desperate to have done such a thing.

I see now that new comments are being posted, but as I said before, last night's onslaught of posts is gone.
