I keep losing the coconut toss, but the problem I'm having is that my in-game curser doesn't light up so I have no idea if I'm tossing the coconut or the monkey is. Anyone else have this problem?

Maybe there is something you still need to do in the game before trying to do the coconut toss? This is probably why the cursor isn't lighting up.

Strangely, I managed to win even without the cursor lighting up. Go figure. Now I'm sailing endlessly around the island trying to find where to dive. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

I tried the walkthrough. When I think I'm heading West, it says I'm going in another direction. It's the same for all the directions on the compass. What am I missing?

We managed to find our way - sort of. But now the air tank is almost out of air and Nancy has to get back in the water to look for the right ship. Where can i fill the tank?

Next problem...I've read the journal and noticed that Coucou is perched on the astrolabe. The walkthrough says Nancy has to look at the picture and comment on it. There's no comment so I'm stuck. What now?I've checked the walkthrough and done everything it says.

I've noticed when I've played the game, even if I follow the walkthrough, sometimes I do a few things out of order and it causes this spot to not happen when the walkthrough says it should. Is there anything on your tasklist? If not, usually what I do is talk all convos with George and also go out to the beach and talk all convos with Johnny.

Also, have you looked at CouCou's perch (is the convo option with CouCou offering anything about the perch)

Another thing....I don't know if it matters or not, but have you unlocked the chest from the sea?

I took advice and went to the YouTube walkthrough to help myself to the spots I was particularly having trouble with. I'm doing better - got into the cave - I didn't know there was more than one - opened the chest under the sea - with the walkthrough's help (I'm lousy at Sudoku).

I thought this was a difficult game. I needed to use the walkthrough quite often.

Well, I just finished it, with help and interference from my granddaughters 6 and 9. The 6 year old was always at the monkey place playing games. The 9 year old decided to leave the drowning parts to me. Both insisted on crashing the sailboat and using the second chance over and over again - or going in circles on the ocean.

I've never had to use a walkthrough as I did in this game. It was awful. I think that's why I've had the game for years but kept quitting. This time, though, we made it....finally!
