I am stuck at the Demon Cave, supposed to pick cards when turned over but can't seem to do it. I've used my "Cats Eyes" but keeps saying "You Loose", even when I'm certain I've picked the correct ones. I've even managed to pause the game and written down the ones shown (animal cards), but maybe I'm not quick enough, but keep loosing even when positive I have the right ones.
Anybody else played all of this game>?
Jo.

I'm currently playing it but haven't reached the spot you are at yet. I am towards the end though I think. I will see tomorrow.

Well, I'm just going to say that I loved this game up until this puzzle. The first set is animals. The second set is plants. The third set ??? I went for the non animal, non plant but the cards do change position so I don't know what the deal is. I don't really think it has to do with being quick, but if it does, you would have to be like lightning. I also was trying to open the scroll but was panicking. I will need to try again later. I cannot do a puzzle like this for too many times in a row.

I found a walkthrough that describes this part of the game. It does not appear to have anything to do with being quick.

Okay, I think I figured it out. I did get through the puzzle anyway. I associated each animal with one of the non animal, non plant beings. On the third set of cards you have to choose them in that order of association. (I hope that makes sense.) You can see which cards are which by looking at them with the ghoul vision on.

So, make note of the order of the animals and what being you associate with that animal and then using the cat eyes vision, look at the cards and select them in the same order as the animals were.

Yes, that all sounds good, but I still can't get it to work. Also the only walkthrough I can find is something is one on You Tube, and in that it is easy to see the animals with your cat eyes

You know, I'm not even sure if you have to do that association or not. I should have reloaded a save to check it further. On that third level the cards move around. With the cat eyes you can see "through" the cards I guess. Don't worry about remembering where they were positioned. Turn the cat eyes on before you start the third level and after the cards are revealed and then hidden again, just look close at the cards themselves. You should be able to make out the images of the four (demon) cards that you need. Maybe you can just select them in any order then. I'm not sure.

Oh Dear!! I just managed to get through the animal card and flower cards but when I tried the Demon Cards I kept get locked into the cage forever. Thing is I had tried to exit the game after the flower card part thinking I wouldn't have time to finish the whole sequence but on coming back, I found the game had put me right back to the animal cards again. Is there any way of actually saving this game where you want to?

You probably can't save during the middle of the puzzle. This was the only frustrating part of the game for me, having to keep repeating those first two levels until I figured out that third level. And, trying to figure out what the demon cards were so I could give them a "name" so I could better keep track of them. I didn't have enough time to really look at them all in one shot. The first two levels do get easier though the more times you do them. I just remembered where two cards were and put my fingers on the other two rather than trying to write their positions down.

Don't rush yourself; there is no need to hurry. Just look at the outside of the cards and you will see the demons. You may or may not have to associate them with the animals (such as the lady and the fox). I did and that worked but maybe that was a fluke. I really don't know.

This is really weird. I have gone back a couple of times to the animal and flower cards, no trouble there, just at the Demon Card. I can see them clearly each time but always get the You/v Lost" message. No idea why that would be.Haven't tried associating them with animals though so I guess that's the last thing to try.

Yes, try that. I hope you can get through it! Remember/write down the order the animals are in and press the demon cards with associated animal in that same order.

Thanks so much for all your help, just finished the game at last but still did exactly the same thing at the Demon cave and for some reason it worked this time. Great game really loved it.

I'm so glad you were able to finish the game JoAJ! I really loved the game too. Now that I know how the game works, I may play it through again. I usually don't replay games right away but I think I can with this one.
